Earlier this year I spoke about our eBook “Making It” at TEDxUWCCR in Costa Rica. I’m super grateful to United World College for the opportunity and happy to finally be able to share the video of my talk.
What’s “Making It”?
In 2014, on the Terms of Reference Podcast, I interviewed more than 50 development and humanitarian aid professionals around the world who work for organizations like USAID, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UNDP, and many others. While each conversation was unique, at the end of each interview, I asked each guest what their advice was for creating success in our sector.
“Making It” is the result of those conversations: as I listened to our guests’ advice, I found seven critical themes that everyone interested in creating a successful career can use.
