International Solutions Group (ISG) has begun a final evaluation of ACDI VOCA’s Liberian Agricultural Upgrading, Nutrition and Child Health (LAUNCH) Program. LAUNCH aims to improve the food security of more than 90,000 rural households in the Liberian counties of Bong (Salala and Sanoyea districts) and Nimba (Gbor, Wee GbeyMahn, Zoe Gbao and YarpeaMahn districts).
ACDI/VOCA, together with Project Concern International, John Snow Inc. and Making Cents International implements the five-year (2010-2015) USAID Title II MYAP-funded Liberian Agricultural Upgrading Nutrition and Child Health (LAUNCH) program.
ISG is conducting a final qualitative evaluation that will assess the program’s achievements and results with reference to the program baseline, conducted in 2010. ISG’s evaluation team is undertaking data collection in Liberia during July and August, working closely with LAUNCH staff in Monrovia to provide ACDI/VOCA with a detailed evaluation of the program’s outcomes and results, and provide detailed recommendations for improved future programming.
